Quirky and Colorful Washington Farm Wedding

Happy Tuesday friends! I am thrilled to be back and blogging after a mini vacay at the lake. How was your holiday weekend? I hope fab and full of sunshine. I am currently drinking coffee out of a ginormous mug so that always makes for a happy day. Anyone watch the Bachelorette last night? But Katie you always swear you are done with that show. 'Tis true but their I was last night with my pretzel thins, grapes and wine ready to watch Desiree. The casting director did a great job at picking some creepy men. Ha! I like Desiree. She seems realistic which you have to be when dating. Here's to a fun season (if I make it through it).

Today's wedding takes place at a rustic ranch but this couple didn't go with a rustic theme. Joe and Natasha picked bright, vibrant colors for their wedding day and it is so fitting. This couple is full of fun and creativity and their intimate wedding is just perfect y'all. I say a lot of weddings are perfect on LBP but a happy wedding day is a perfect wedding day. Joe even sang Natasha a song at their reception. How sweet and memorable is that? I love this pair! Thank you to Arlene Chambers Photography for submitting this lovely wedding!

He won Asian Idol at Yale. She was a senior. He was a junior but he liked older women. Thus became Joe & Natasha. They graduated and moved to Seattle. Joe, a teacher, and Natasha, graduating from med school, decided it was the right time to tie the knot. They selected a quaint venue on Whidbey Island and their color selection plus details complimented it perfectly. Joe made the inside of the ring box and wanted it to be a special memory for Natasha.

They had the acapella group that Joe was part of at Yale display their talent with a few songs, as well as Joe serenading Natasha with a solo as the reception started.

Joe & Natasha danced their way into the reception hall that night followed by a surprising upbeat dance with her dad. Natasha's dad was quite serious during family photos but then busted out dance moves and a ton of personality for the father-daughter dance. I love how vibrant this couple is. They are so full of life and laughter!
