Navy & Green Lovebird Themed Wedding in Florida

Finally! I get to share with you a wedding centered around Lovebirds! Uh, you know the name of this blog? :)

When I got this submission I kept nodding my head and saying yes out loud while browsing through the images. This wedding takes place on the steps of an utterly gorgeous Southern Plantation home. We are talking moss hanging from the trees kind of Southern. Stacey is a forever classic bride with her navy polka dot peep toe pumps while Rudy cries the sweetest tears during his vows. This couple is all smiles and their friends and family are just as happy to be a part of their special day. We get lots of navy, pretty sunshine, Lovebirds (both the bird and the couple), really good dancing and a sparkler send off. Oh my. My Southern heart is very happy! A big thank you to Chic Shot Studio for sharing this wedding with us!

Stacey and Rudy were a blast to work with. Their wedding was Lovebird themed, with bird cages, flowers and sculptures all around. Both Stacey and Rudy are in the Navy, so for some pre-wedding fun the groomsmen went to the shooting range. Stacey was brought to the front of the historical Herlong Mansion by horse drawn carriage. The ceremony was on the front steps of the mansion, and the reception was in a tent on the grounds. We walked the couple down the street to downtown Micanopy for portraits to make use of the great historical town full of antique shops and rustic signs. The reception was full of non-stop dancing!
