Orange and Navy Elegant Wedding by Dan and Melissa Photography

Before I start today's post I just wanted to express my sadness and prayers for the families, friends and community of Newton and the lives lost on Friday. I cannot begin to wrap my head around the horror of how someone is so lost to take innocent lives but it is not for me to understand. While all the sadness surrounds us all I can do is make sure that what I do every day makes a positive impact and to make sure I pass along a warm smile. Seeing the pictures of the sweet children and heroic teachers brings tears to my eyes. Praying for America, our leaders, our loved ones and our future.

Today's wedding has so many fabulous details that this post is bursting with inspiration. The bride selected navy and orange as her color palette which are two colors I never would have thought to pair together but look great! Pam used pretty fonts, made a Mrs. sign for her reception chair, wore a chic flower in her hair and used the prettiest china. One of my favorite details, the reception hall has one wall full of windows that look out on the marina. It is stunning! The couple also incorporated a s'mores bar and well, you know how I feel about s'mores. Thank you to Dan and Melissa Photography for this perfect submission!

Larry & Pam were so calm & laid back. It was a joy to follow them around on their special day taking a more photojournalistic approach to shooting. They decided upon a reveal which was so sweet to watch as the groom sees his stunning bride for the first time walking towards him. They both had special love letters that they read to each other. The passion alight in their eyes was catching as he whispered in her ear while softly stroked her back. They were mad about each other. It was crazy beautiful!
