Modern and DIY Arts Center Illinois Wedding

Happy Monday sweet friends. I am so happy to be here. I am so happy to be sharing with you. I am happy we get this time together. It is such a special day. No reason in particular but just happy. God gives such overwhelming happiness.

Before we get into today's fab wedding. Click play below. I think this song goes perfect with today's wedding.

Better.

Josh and Lindsey did good. They did good in finding one another. They did good in creating a gorgeous wedding. They did good making the day special for everyone. They did good with their modern venue. They did good with all the DIY everything. They just did plain good. I love how hard they worked to create a wedding that everyone loves.

And like usual, Rachael Schirano Photogpraphy, can say it better than I can. A big thank you to Rachael for sharing with us.

Happy Monday. Oh, and make sure you wear your favorite sweater sometime this week. Favorite sweaters make the world go round and mine is on today.

There were so many special details, bits of their personalities tucked into every detail. Like the lace wrapped around her flowers which was from her mother's wedding dress or the way the groom hand drew the border on the invitations. The seating chart and programs. The fact that she had a close friend of hers put together the floral arrangements (and he is not even a florist!) and how she (along with help from her family and friends) decorated the venue themselves with the twinkle lights and paper lanterns.

The venue was The Contemporary Arts Center in Peoria, IL. They have a huge record collection and requested we stop at their favorite record store, Ribbon Records for some bride + groom photographs.
