Cherry Blossom D.C. Engagement Session

Happy Tuesday and a big cup of coffee to you! I am glad you are here. It means so much to me and I love all the new faces I have met lately. You guys sure know how to lift a gal's spirits.

Bethany and Chris are the sweetest couple ever. This darling couple met in Washington, D.C. where Chris later proposed. To celebrate their engagement, Samantha Martin - Photographer toured the city with the couple in search of cherry blossoms. I love the simple elegance of this engagement session and am so happy to share it with you!

Bethany and I planned her engagement session in DC particularly near the Jefferson Memorial because that monument holds a special place in her and Chris' hearts! They met in DC and he proposed in DC near the Jefferson Memorial, so it only seemed fit to do their engagement session there! We kept track of the cherry blossoms and decided to head to DC on "peak day" before the sun began to rise, but when we got there we soon realized peak day had changed AGAIN! But thankfully we found a few beautifully bloomed trees and spent alot of time with them! Bethany and Chris are planning a wine themed October 2013 wedding. This couple is so natural in front of the camera. They needed little direction as they are so incredibly in love!
