Canadian Lakeside Engagement Session

Warning: Today's engagement session is going to further trigger your need for summer and wedges. Sometimes we need it. Kahla and Owen are fun you guys. Their engagement session makes you feel like they totally forgot about the camera and just loved on each other. More on the proposal below but these two revisited the spot where Kahla said yes. I couldn't think of a better place for an engagement session than the one where you start your life together plus a boat ride makes any day better. A big, big thank you to Meg Courtney Photography for this charming couple and lovely submission!

{From the photographer}
Owen took Kahla for a ride in his little fishing boat in June to their favorite spot just outside of Cosens Bay on Kalamalka Lake in British Columbia. They beached the boat, and sat on the rocks watching the sun set over the rolling hills of the Okanagan Valley and when the moment was right, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry her. Everything about it was perfect. For their engagement session they wanted to go back to the place he asked her to marry him so we piled in the little fishing boat and rode out to the spot on the rocks. We took photos as the sun went behind the mountains in one of the most beautiful hidden spots I have ever seen. The Okanagan is filled with breathtaking views and has so many amazing options for destination couples. I thought this shoot showcased some of the beauty that the Okanagan Valley has to offer plus this sweet couple!
