The countdown to the Royal Wedding continues and I looked this morning to see what time it would be showing on t.v. It is really early (for me) but many people will be tuning in to watch Kate Middleton says "I Do" to a handsome Prince William. Sigh.
I thought it would be so much fun to host a Royal Wedding themed party. Here are a few ideas that came to mind:
1. Give you guest royal tiaras and jewels. Doll up your guest with tiaras and fun costume jewelry. Both are inexpensive and easy to find! The crown below I spotted at Target.
2. Royal cookies. How cute are those cookies? My sweet friend Sarah made these adorable cookies for her bachelorette party. I personally think Sarah should open a bakery. She is fabulous at baking! These cookies are the perfect treat for royalty (that is you!).
3. Paper Flower Decor. Queen Approved. Paper flowers are so easy to make and such a neat touch to any party. You can always keep these flowers and reuse them to decorate around your house. For a full tutorial on how to create these beautiful flowers, click here.
4. Pretty Pink Drinks. How fun is this pink lemonade? Serve this sweet treat in pretty crystal glasses. I love this simple touch of class!
5. Party Favors. This canvas is such a romantic gift to leave your guests with. All you need is stenciled letters, a canvas and paint. You can choose the size of your canvas based on the price you want to spend. You can also use these to decorate with then give them away as your guests leave.
Treat yourself to a royal affair! You deserve it Lovebirds!
