New Vendor: Daniel Holman Photo

Happy Thursday lovelies! I am so excited to write this post today. When I started Lovebird Productions I never realized what a treat it would be to meet new vendors. Vendors are so encouraging because they can offer help, words of comfort and pass along to your information to more potential clients.

When I did the San Antonio Bridal Extravaganza (more on the event here) I met the sweetest couple. Dan and Kristi were new to San Antonio as well and reaching out to various vendors. Kristi gave me their card and a few weeks later I met her for coffee. I also got to meet their adorable and beyond handsome little boy Eric. I think I could write a whole post about Eric. He is so well mannered and already says yes ma'am.

Dan and Kristi have become such generous friends. This week Dan featured me on his blog with a few pictures he took of me. To read that post click here. I got to interview them as well but let's take a look at some of their work first.

Now more with Dan and Kristi:

1. Give us a little background about you and your family.

Dan grew up all over the US and loves the outdoors and to travel. Kristi is mostly from Texas and enjoys knitting, painting and loves to tag along with Dan on trips. We met in high school, got married in college and have a beautiful little boy Eric and another baby due in April of 2012!

2. How did you get started in wedding photography?

Dan has had a passion for photography since high school and opened his photography business in 2004 after finishing college. He soon was asked to photograph his first wedding and has enjoyed it ever since!

3. What is your favorite part of your job?

We love being a part of such an exciting event with all of its emotion and joy. It is also a thrill to present our brides with their wedding day memories to enjoy for years to come.

4. What do you hope to offer brides?

We offer unlimited hours of coverage with all of our wedding packages. Typically, most photographers reserve unlimited coverage for their biggest package only, but we feel it is so important because it allows the bride to enjoy her day without stressing over when the photographer will leave. Plus, we want to capture the real story of each couple with all of the fun details and emotions.

5. Tell us a few fun things about yourselves!

Dan makes mead (alcohol made by fermenting honey) and turns wooden bowls.

Kristi swam and played water polo in high school and still loves to be around water-- pools, lakes, rivers, rain, etc.

Of course I wanted to show more of Dan's work. He not only specializes in weddings but senior portraits, newborns and family sessions.
