Yellow, Green & Orange Texas Hill Country Wedding

It is official. In just 9 days I will be an Arkansas resident again. I plan on doing a post about my lessons learned in Texas but one of the things I will miss most about Texas are the wedding venues. Never in my life have I seen venues as gorgeous as the plantations homes and rustic ranches tucked away in the hill country. The hill country is breathtaking! My words would not give the views, sunsets, flowers, boulders and venues justice. Ashley and Robert used the rustic charm of the hill country to their benefit. I love the mix of gorgeous oversized floral arrangements and DIY touches like the card holder at the reception. Kelly Miranda Photography did a wonderful job capturing this sweet couple!

The weather could not have been more perfect as these two said there vows on a beautiful fall day. Ashley and Robert had a gorgeous and intimate ceremony at The Star Ranch Golf Club overlooking the scenery of the green hills and big Texas sky. Ashley's ceremony shoes were decorated herself as well as her unique garter. And what better kicks to throw on for dancing than a nice, comfy pair of wedding Toms? The lovely oranges and browns complimented the autumn weather and guests left with a delicious Texas barbecue rub to commemorate the special day.
