Gorgeous Spring & Sunshine Illinois Engagement Session

Something crazy happened on Saturday. I heard a Christmas song and instantly was longing for Christmas but mostly, Fall weather. Even these past few nights have gotten somewhat chilly which adds to my case that Fall should hurry its pretty little self along.

To go along with my weary heart (ha!), I have an engagement session that will have you missing riding boots and comfy sweaters. Missing them dearly.

I really like Stefanie and Alan and their fur baby, Zizou. Notice that Zizou has a very chic bow tie. This little family is sweet as can be and so happy. Happiness is a good thing to have. This lovely couple and their colorful quilt made their engagement session feel casual and cozy. Don't you wish you could spend the day in the woods with a good book, your pup and a colorful quilt? Me too y'all. Me too.

Thank you to our friends at Blue Mason Photography for sharing this adorable family!

Round Rock Park Engagement Session

With the temps rising and summer officially here, I am thrilled to share a spring engagement session. Alison and Brent are so sweet y'all. I love the way they look at each other and the big smiles they wear. A smile is a great statement piece! These two spent the day strolling through Round Rock Park while Jennifer Weems Photography captured these amazing photos of them. I love the wine and picnic basket. I love the cute dresses Alison wears. I love the sunlight and the giggles. This session makes for a lovely Tuesday!

Ruby and Cream Spring Inspiration Styled Shoot

The biggest and prettiest inspiration shoot ever on Lovebird Productions? On a Monday morning? After a very busy weekend? You bet lady Jane. To say that I am excited for this Alea Lovely styled shoot is an understatement. Monday couldn't get here fast enough for me.

This styled shoot is the epitome of whimsical and rustic. You have the mix of the rugged outdoors with overgrown grass and wheat in the bouquet plus the romantic textures of a tulle gown and ruby flowers. All these features make for the best styled shoot to date. I just...no words y'all. Just no words. Dig in friends.

{From the photographer}
We shot on Longview Mansion’s grounds that had a lot of rustic structures we could work with along with the great overgrown grass. With the vision I had, I just could not find a dress that matched the feeling of what we were going for. I made the dress to capture the very whimsical direction we were headed for and used color in the dress inspired by the latest bridal fashion trends. The florist used her great-grandmother’s amazing pink antique depression glass as centerpieces and accents to the flowers and cake. The cake decorator used a brush-like texture on the buttercream to give it a nest-like look. The furniture rentals used were great rustic pieces like old wooden crates, old dress trunks, rusted keys and this great wide bottom over-sized chair that looks like it came straight from the set of Alice and Wonderland. The pergola was a great accent location in front of the water for something a little different. Dress made by Alea Bebenek.
