Modern and Glamorous New York City Wedding

So we already know that any wedding submission that includes a snapshot of New York is a big, fat, of course Yes. More evidence in this Love Song Friday post and our Thanksgiving trip recap last year.

And here we are today. With more New York talk. I know. I can feel your excitement too!

And I also had the hardest time narrowing down images. So forgive me for giving up and sharing them all. Brittney and Jeff are just fabulous. Their love for one another is evident in each photo and their wedding is bliss. Blush tones, a floral arch that will take your breath away and a dip kiss at the end of the ceremony. Sigh. Today's wedding is why I blog my little heart away.

Tyler Boye Photography, you are the best for sending this submission our way!

And you know I love ending a post with and the bride wore Vera.

Rustic, urban romance overlooking the East River and the Statue of Liberty. Brittany + Jeff’s Brooklyn wedding is really lovely. Everything was beautiful, from the Vera Wang "Juliet" gown to the floral (orchids, hydrangeas & luscious greens) draped chuppah with its wooden bows. Perched by the river at sunset talk about ambiance!

{From the bride}
We had a ceremony outdoors on a patio overlooking the East River and the Statue of Liberty. A Rabbi who went to college with us performed the ceremony. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful ceremony or sunset to go with it.

Our reception was at The Liberty Warehouse, which is an old warehouse that was turned into an event space in recent years. It has a rustic feeling, with a brick and wood interior, and it overlooks the Statue of Liberty. It was a beautiful New York day, made even more perfect with love, family and friends.

Yellow and Navy Chevron Seattle Wedding

How is today? Barely making it? Happy? Excited? I have the cure for today. It is a lovely Seattle wedding that combines DIY and a navy + yellow color palette. Navy and yellow are classic and lovely. Every time y'all.

I like Bill and Lydia. I especially love Lydia because she is a bride who took her Pinterest pages and made them come to life in her wedding. Oh, and this couple loves the Chicago Bears. If you like the Bears then you are a saint in my book. A big thank you to Genesa Richards Photography for sharing this gorgeous wedding. Happy Tuesday friends!

Lydia & Bill are such a fun, laid back couple who make you smile by being around them for just a few moments. When their wedding day came around, it ended up being the hottest day of the summer but this didn't stop them from having the most amazing wedding.

The details for their wedding were incredible. Everything was made or designed by Lydia through Pinterest inspirations or wedding blogs. The blue and yellow chevron was perfectly displayed throughout the venue. The tables were named after Chicago Bears football players which is Bill's favorite team. Their wedding day was perfect!
