Great Gatsby Themed Inspiration Shoot

I have been more than excited to show you today's Great Gatsby themed inspiration shoot. From the minute Alea Lovely Fine Art Photography popped this into my inbox I have been looking at the images daily. (P.s. She did all the styling plus captured the images. Amazing!) This post is full of elegant ideas and details plus is so soft and pretty. It also incorporates lots of powder blue. Yeah, I forgot how lovely powder blue can be. After seeing this shoot it makes you want to throw caution to the wind and buy a colored wedding gown. It is just stunning! Sigh, this era is just so lovely and timeless.

Taking a step back to the 70's to put a modern spin on a great classic. The setting was at a personal estate creating an intimate wedding setting which is my favorite. The dress was a vintage light blue gown redesigned for a more modern look. The blue Danube on the table scape was a major detail I wanted to incorporate that tied together the stationery, cake and floral design plus gave a classy vintage detail. The accessories like the wide head band adorned with crystals gave the bride a very distinct throwback feel.
